Sorry Tony to inform you, that your red Stake Truck is not a Thomas Hore but was made by Toltoys. All the Hore made toys that I have come across are all clearly marked by the manufacturer. I have a 1970 advertisement for this Toltoy range and a photo with my son on his second birthday pulling/holding his stake truck.
Sadly the truck has disappeared into the mists of time.
    Barbara.

Hi. I am trying to find some old dinosaur toys sold in Woolworths stores throughout the 1960’s. They were a set of eight dinosaurs in four colours, red, yellow, green & red (occasionally though rarely black or brown). The originals were made by USA company AJAX. These were Aussie copies made by Toltoys. The Oz versions had the scientific names along the spines. Often believed to be cereal figures though they are not. If you have any knowledge of these, please let me know. Les

      Hi Les

Interesting topic! Dinosaurs are not something I have come across, but given your description I will keep watch.

      cheers

Hi Tony great site. I’m interested in SSP Kenner cars as well as vintage tin vehicles. Do you collect items even if they’re not your primary interest? My taste is pretty varied and relates to childhood toys right across the board but the process of searching is making me look at so much more now. Cheers
