The items by Wardie Master Models Toys were introduced to me as a result of an Australian Tucker Box toy tractor box being sold to me with a diecast tractor that did not quite match what I was expecting. In tracking down the actual maker I have also found and added some more models to my collection.
Wardie Master Models Toys were a brand that produced mainly scale railway items. The Wee World series appears to consist of only farm equipment items.
These specific tractors and trailers were marketed as Wee World models by Wardie. Compared to a Dinky Dublo the red tractor is marginally larger and they are perhaps 1:72 scale.
The boxes that the models should come with (I do not have one, yet!) are branded as “A Wardie Product”, “Wee World Series”, and “A Master Model” all on the one box.
Regardless of the brand or scale they are a similar tractor design to Matchbox and the host of other post war UK based diecast toy makers and being physically un-branded they would easily be mistaken for any one of the other makers of the era.
If you have any different Wardie Wee World models, empty boxes, or advertising material, please get in contact as I’d be interested in adding it to my collection.
