My collection of toy cars really stems from a love of Mini’s, as in Morris & Austin Mini 850 and Cooper models. The Corgi Toys 226 in blue was one that I had as a kid and acquired a mint boxed example at a market circa 1985 which prompted me to acquire others and the rest, as they say, is history. My collection is now well in excess of 2,000 models including a range of Mini’s of all types. This gallery is based on the tags for the toy models of Morris and Mini across all the brands and items in my collection.

Matchbox Dinky Mini Cooper DY21. This is the only mini of these releases that I got. Not sure if they did others but it was really Dinky 1/43 scale and not Matchbox, but at that time the Dinky brand was owned by the Matchbox owners.

A boxed Cararama Morris Mini Van. I did not pursue all the variants of colours and styles, but I liked the red with woody trim finish.
My second smallest Mini model. There is another smaller one piece white metal casting that is about half this size. I think this one is scaled for N guage model railways.
Displaying RN#144 this is the largest of the Mini models in my collection. There are others from Solido but for me one is enough.
In its original box this Tomica mini is in distinctive metal flake green with white roof. The window front on the box is slightly damaged but otherwise all mint.
