A Charbens Old-timer Spyker in pink, black and red wheels.
An early Charbens split casting Old timer or Old Crock model. The box label is over printed by rubber stamp and the only part I can make out is Ford but it is a #4 1907 Ford.
The casting split down the centre is clear in this picture of the Charbens model. This makes it an early casting as later issues were a one piece casting.
Pretty sure it is Benbros but there is only a Made in England brand on the base. Probably is missing a rider.
Nice condition overall with the side car lid opening ok.
From pictures of other Benbros bikes this one has black trim to the rails on the side car box.
A model from our trip to the UK in 2000. Intrinsically not worth much but for memories.
Similar to the Dinky 25h and others this streamlined fire truck is by Arbur. This is a restored model and the ladder is a fill-in.
The restoration is by Trevor at Doctor Diecast.
The base view with the identifying marks inside.
A Benbros AA Motorcycle Patrol in its original box. A reproduction box is available at RecoverToy.
This appears to be a later issue model which is meant to have a perspex / clear plastic screen. It is missing.
The model itself is in great condition with only minor paint loss probably from handling and box wear more than play.
The box is in excellent condition complimenting the model.
This model and the box were pretty tatty. The rear axle was adrift and the box torn in several places. That has been repaired by Doctor Diecast and although it is missing the cover the rest of it presents nicely.
