My collection of toy cars really stems from a love of Mini’s, as in Morris & Austin Mini 850 and Cooper models. The Corgi Toys 226 in blue was one that I had as a kid and acquired a mint boxed example at a market circa 1985 which prompted me to acquire others and the rest, as they say, is history. My collection is now well in excess of 2,000 models including a range of Mini’s of all types. This gallery is based on the tags for the toy models of Morris and Mini across all the brands and items in my collection.
A repaired Airfix Mini Cooper or Morris slot car. In plain white.
The repair was to rebuild a small piece of the plastic body where one of the mounting posts had broken away.

Cararama is one of the brands that I normally ignore but the presentation of this van was really nice.
The Herpa range for HO scale (1/87) includes this Mini. I got it as much to contrast with the Solido 1/18 model I have.
A 1:20 scale plastic kit. I like for the box art as much as anything and no I have not assembled it.
This is the only Solido Mini that I have and I got it mostly to sit on display with my 1/43 Corgi and Dinky models. Of course it has been packed away in a box and unsighted except for this photo. One day it will be displayed.

Tomica DJ015 Mini Cooper in bright green and white roof. The cello window has suffered over the years but the original decal sheet is still present and the model is in mint condition.
A flourescent green Dinky Toys 197 Morris station wagon or estate van. A variation on the paint was done from the standard white or cream colour. This is in poor condition but an un-common model.
